Our Story
Who would have imagined that in a small college town in upstate New York, a lifelong love story would begin? From a simple introduction and a few shy hellos in the College in the Woods dining hall (if you know, you know), Gabriel and Bijan found something special. What started as a spark soon grew into a love that deepened with every passing year.
Through life’s challenges and triumphs, they stood side by side — supporting one another through bachelor’s degrees, master’s programs, and ultimately their doctorates degrees. Together, they proved that love, perseverance, and partnership can truly beat the odds.
Over 11 beautiful years, Gabriel and Bijan have built a life filled with adventure and devotion. They’ve moved across New York more times than they can count, explored the world hand in hand, and opened their hearts to three beloved fur babies — Oliver, Luna, and Sasha — who fill their home with endless love and laughter. What began as friendship blossomed into a deep, unshakable bond, and now, into a promise that will last a lifetime.
Soon to be husband and husband, Gabriel and Bijan are over the moon to celebrate the most magical night of their lives with all of you — their dearest friends and family — in a place close to their hearts: Medellín, Colombia.
